I thought that this was a good place to come to because there were more than one niche (chapel, "Island", the pond itself)
it's also a great work area so i can collect my data and be able to record it.
Niches
-The entire pond
-Near the island
-Front entrance of the Chapel
Near the island = there are...
-turtles - move very slow, Why are the turtles there? What purpose do they serve? (Just for the sake of saying, we have turtles, help the koi in the pond, etc)
-birds - Move at any distraction. What is their purpose?(eats insects, keep away other organisms, etc)
-the hala tree - right in the middle of the "Island". What is its purpose? (home for the birds, food for the birds, helps the birds, etc.)
-grass - only on the island, none in the pond, but there is grass AROUND the pond. Is the island just for decoration? or is there a reason that it's there.

-lilly pads - all over the place. (provide shade for the fish, provide cover for the fish, algae under them = food? frogs?)
-Koi (and other fish) - constantly moving, many different varieties, colors, and sizes. not just found in one area, spread all over the pond.
-water - needed so that the fish can survive, dirty (or just floating mud/dirt from the floor of the pond), home to many different fish.
-flowers - on top of the lilly pads. probably (certain) grew out from them.

Big rock/plaque - made out of rock, has a plaque on it. attracts fish. Why?
lilly pads - not as many here as there are near the center of the pond.
